Wow, man does technology evolves fast. Got the two mini switches, installation was almost intuitive. there's a simple installation step you need to do to have the switch connect to your WiFi and you're pretty much all set. then you can setup a house and assign a room or any identifying name to a plug. That's pretty much it, you're good to go. but I also wanted to connect it with google Home. The app has instructions on how to do that exactly. It says it works also with Alexa but I don't have that so I can attest to how easy that is. The google home interfacing was pretty straight forward, you let google have access to the account you setup with Smart Life, and then google takes care of the rest. Pretty impressive, I must say, for a device less than 10$. If I need more of smart switch I am probably going to get more of those.
I really like these outlets, we now have a small collection over my house. Please enjoy this pro/con list: PROS: -works with Smart Life app, which is easy to use -App interfaces with echo dots for easy voice control -App has programmable rooms, scenes, commands, etc. (like saying “I’m home” to your echo and it turns on specific lights, or setting a scheduled timer from the app) -Simple to add IF phone is on 2.4GHz WiFi and smart life app is open -great for outlets that are in hard-to-reach places, like my lamp behind the couch that I can’t reach to turn on and off -you can now pull a sweet prank on your brother by flashing his desk light on and off no matter where you are
Excellent. Program really well. Have not had a single problem with disconnecting or not responding to the Alexa app. Set up was easy. It has its own app which is great but is also compatible with Alexa which is what I use it for.
There are a few things in my house that I use these for... But the most important thing is the lighting in my reptile tanks and aquariums. They are so easy to program. They are so easy to set up groups. Everything turns on at the same time every day. Very very very thrilled with this purchase.
I've had an Alexa echo dot 1st generation and now my house is full of them and I even travel with a Dot. I had a few lamps and even a fan that had previously been on the IKEA system so when I decided to try the least expensive plugs I could find to go with Echo I chose these. Easy to install, doesn't seem to lose programming if unplugged even for a length of time, a good size not taking up the entire plug area like some. Good choice if you're starting to let Alexa control your lighting, entire house and entire life ;-)

This is the best thing I could have ever bought. just when your husband thinks he going to sleep with the TV on! I can just push one button on my phone ,or just ask Alexia to turn the socket off and Bam! the TV is off! ..it was so funny at first he though we blew a fuss! I'm having a ball with this product. and you will too! I'm just having a hard time finding others area's in my home to use them.
